Lisa Strohauer

Greedy

Give me one more

bare foot summer,

one more fiery fall,

one more after-

noon together,

one more son

grown tall.

Give me one more

long lost memory,

one more story told.

one more soft

“I love you,”

one more child

to hold.

Lisa Strohauer is a mother, grandmother, photographer, and poet living in rural Southwest Michigan. She draws inspiration from the changing of the seasons, the bounty of the present, and familial ties. She has been published twice, in Parnassus and in the Vineyard.
